Grace Cortes

Grace Cortes is a Canadian born dancer, singer, actor, and model, currently based in her hometown, Regina, Saskatchewan. She has a strong passion for everything she does in the performing arts and is constantly seeking out new opportunities to help her grow as an artist, as well as a person.

 

Grace started dancing later than most at the age of twelve, training recreationally in ballet, jazz, tap, and hip hop for two years. During her first two years dancing is when she found her love for dance and decided to transition into competitive dancing to challenge herself. She ended up dancing competitively for only two years, due to struggles with her mental health, which led her to stop dancing consistently for around six months. During those six months, she dealt with severe depression and anxiety, which almost resulted in her taking her life. At that point, she had tried so many things to get better, but nothing was working, and she slowly began to lose hope, along with her passion for the performing arts.
